The Kingdom of Albion is on the verge of a great industrial era, however, the majority of the country is still stuck in medieval times, and overrun with bandits. Hitori no Zetsubou, or One Man's Despair, is the story of a young blacksmith named Col, who strives to abandon his dark past and find a new purpose in his life. Col's mission for the majority of the series is to start a new life on the undiscovered landmass known as the western continent... Note: The current image for the series is temporary.
