After returning to Marseille, France, Edmond Dantès reunites with his beloved to get married. Alongside a personal envelope addressed by Emperor Napoleon himself, Dantès welcomes paradise after his arduous voyage. On the day of his wedding, however, his utopia is quickly shattered.
