<p>Jack Oshinumi is a young man of English descent who is forced to reside in Hokkaido after contracting serious illness, much to his chagrin. With his mind more concerned about his studies than his health, Jack finds himself at odds with his family around him. All he wants is to return to school, return to Tokyo, and being an ordinary Japanese boy, and that's all that matters to him.
